The European Agency for Safety and Health at Work is a decentralized agency of the European Union, founded in 1996 and based in Bilbao.

The objective of the European Agency for Safety and Health at Work is to promote the safety, health and productivity in the workplace by providing institutions, Member States and those involved in health and safety at work with the technical, scientific and economic.

The Agency is organizing a selection procedure for the preparation of a reserve list for the recruitment of contract staff for the following positions:

1. FRAMEWORK OF JOBS

Who reports directly to the Director of the Agency, the system (pre-accession) will each manage and implement one of the Agency's pre-accession programmes to ensure adequate preparation for a possible future membership.

It is important that candidates are able to take up their duties as soon as possible. One of the posts may, in accordance with available resources, to be offered as a part-time position.

2. JOB PROFILE
2.1 General Purpose

As part of the Agency Secretariat of the network, the incumbent is required to participate in the management and implementation of one of the Agency's pre-accession programmes to ensure adequate preparation for a possible future accession .
Main features 2.2

Under the programme on which the Network Manager (pre-accession) is employed, he / she is responsible for:

* Provide advice, and to collaborate with partners in the recipient countries to support institutional capacity building;
* The planning, organization, management and implementation of the Agency's programme of pre-accession;
* Maintain contact with the Commission (DG ELARG) on the program, including the program budget;
* Management of procurement procedures and prepare contracts with translators, printers, conference organisers, webmasters, and others, etc. related to the pre-accession;
* Develop and maintain regular contacts with the recipient institutions, including missions and technical advice;
* Organize meetings the focal point of recipient countries and to prepare the minutes of these meetings and to support the maintenance of the Extranet work plans for the countries involved in the program;
* The planning, control and monitoring of the programme budget, in collaboration with the Agency and the Center for Resource Services;
* Drafting of the required technical and financial reports for the program (typically interim and final reports);
* Responding to various requests for information on the programme and the programme of the country.

3. JOB REQUIREMENTS
3.1. Terms and Conditions

* Be a national of a Member State of the Union;

* Have met all the requirements of the country of origin in accordance with its laws on military service;

3.2 Specific Conditions

Certificates, diplomas and professional experience

Applicants are required to have a level of education which corresponds to completed university studies of at least three years attested by a diploma and appropriate professional experience of at least one year.

Knowledge of languages

Applicants must speak fluent in English, spoken and written, with a good command of at least one other official language of the European Union.

Work-related skills and competencies

Technique

* An experience in project management and implementation of programmes;
* Excellent knowledge and experience in institutional capacity building in relation to the function and doing work networks
* Excellent knowledge of the EU's pre-accession assistance programmes;
* Good knowledge of industrial hygiene and the relevant actors in this field, particularly in the pre-accession countries.
* Experience of the EU public procurement and preparation of tender;

Individuals

* As a condition of appointment, the successful candidate must undergo a medical examination to satisfy the requirement noted in Article 12 (d) of the Staff, the conditions of employment of other servants of the European Communities;
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including negotiation skills and the ability to liaise effectively with people at all levels of the organization and externally;
* Ability to manage different pan-European projects simultaneously and to coordinate the work of a range from the outside;
* Good sense of initiative, flexibility, reliability and willingness to accept responsibility;
* Ability to work in an international environment and to cope with the diversity.

* Good knowledge of the EU institutions;
* Knowledge of the European Union decision-making procedures relating to the Agency's pre-accession.

Each application form must include photocopies on size 4 of diplomas, certificates and other documents related work experience and proof of nationality. Candidates will be eliminated if:

* They send their applications after the deadline, the postmark;

5. SELECTION PROCEDURE

A selection committee is appointed for the selection process. The selection committee will examine the applications in order to assess their compliance with the requirements of the position specified above. On this basis, the selection committee will identify the best candidates admitted and invite them to an interview, which may include other appropriate tests.

The work of the selection committee and its deliberations are confidential. Candidates must not make direct or indirect contact with the selection committee or the person had done in their name. The appointing authority reserves the right to disqualify any candidate who ignores this instruction.

6. The commitment and conditions of employment

The commitment for a vacancy will be decided by the Director of the Agency based on a reserve list of candidates proposed by the selection committee. Applicants are advised that the inscription on the reserve list is not a guarantee of recruitment. The reserve list established can be used for the recruitment of a position based on the needs of the Agency and is valid until December 31 following the year of the commitment. The validity of the reserve list can be extended for an additional period of 12 months

The characteristics of jobs and skills of employees in 285 dietitians food were studied by worker-oriented analysis methodology posts. The objectives of this study were the following: a) determining the knowledge, skills, abilities and other characteristics (KASO) needed for dietitians in two types of groups catering employee (self-managed vs. contracted), b ) classify items KASO by factor analysis and c) provide information on jobs and job descriptions for dietitians employed in food. The analysis questionnaire consisted of questions concerning articles KASO 134. The questionnaire was sent to 250 dietitians who are members of the Korean Association Dietetic Practice Group of self-managed food (group A) and 250 dietitians who work in catering companies under contract (Group B). Completed questionnaires were received from 285 dietitians (121 self-managed, 164 contracts), with response rates of 57%. Statistical analysis of data was performed using SPSS software / win and the SAS / win packages.
